This newspage was before only in Swedish, but I will from 2004 get the English version a try too!
But you will sure find more to read at the Swedish version!

6 augusti

Today I got a letter from Optigen with the Optigen prcd-PRA result for both Wilmer and Vincent, they are both Normal/Clear! Well, it was not unexpected as both their parents are Normal/Clear, but needed to be done if the result should be "counted" here in Sweden. And it is good anyway to get a good result - even if it was expected!

Findus became a dad again last week, to three girls. You can read about the litter here. Hopefully we soon will have a picture!

Tomorrow we look forward to a visit from Beth Warman, kennel Corsair, New Zealand, again, plus two of her friends. It will be great to meet her again! Last time she was here it was so sunny and warm, and Frost got his first CC, CACIB and BOB. THAT will not happen now... They have "promised" rains many days to come and Frost is not entered to any show, but it will be great to have them here anyway! :-)

3 August

Yesterday an Open show was held in Kolsva, not far from here. I had entered Wilmer and Vincent, felt like a good place for them to make their debute at. The cockers was the biggest breed this day with totally 19. Nine of them were puppies (up to 12 months) and ten of them over 12 months old. I went there together with Lotta & Ulla and we had a great day together with Madde, Paula and Maddes two boys Johan & Alexander. Yes, and all our dogs of course! But the weather... After all these hot and sunny days it was time for the rain to arrive... I wonder if we want to bring Ulla's Westerner Falling Rain to another show...!? Maybe it had something to do with her!!?

It looked like this in the beginning of the day.
Lotta & Ulla in and outside our tent and the weather was totally ok.

And one hour later it looked like this - and we kept the same weather the rest of the day...
It was great to have to tent anyway, but you had to keep the water of the roof!

Vincent & Wilmer in the show ring for the very first time

After many hours "wet wainting" it was time for the cockers to enter the ring. Out in rain! Margareta Sundqvist judged the breed and I am pleased that she liked my boys! Wilmer won today with honour prize, out of five male puppies, just in front of Vincent! He also got honour prize.

Vincent & Wilmer on the move

They both thought it was fun to be in the ring - and that of course was the most important thing!

I helped Ulla to handle "Linnea" Westerner Falling Rain. It was her first show ever - and Ulla's too! She won best bitch puppy with honour prize! Maybe it was not their last show? Or did they got enough because of the rain? (Well, I know that Ulla plan another show, but also that she of some reason wants to wait until October and the indoor shows...:-) ).

Wilmer won BOB-puppy and Linnea BOS-puppy. We because of that had to wait a bit longer, for the finals, and Wilmer thought the finals was something you could miss - or maybe he was just tired after a looong day at his first show? Well, he was fourth in the group anyway, and we are very pleased with that. No Wilmer will have to wait in the background for awhile and Vincent will be the one who will try the junior class in autumn.

New photo of Wilmer can be seen here! Taken Friday night. Yesterday it was a bit hard taken new standing pictures... Unfortunately we never had time to take new photos of Vincent Friday evening, but today I found an "old" one which I think is better than the one we had before. You can see it here!

We want to congratulate Frost's son "Fly" Dualdigni's Kite Flying also! Of 10 grown up cockers he won BOB, later on also Best In Group and BIS-3!

30 July

Oh yes, I was not surprised when I the same minute as I at last got my news out understood that I forgot about some results! I probably have forgotten more, but it was a bit upsetting to remember it the same minute, specially as I had hard problem getting my news "out". We have bought a new router and that little thing and FTP don't seem to like each other... :( The problem isn't solved, but Anders found away to make it anyway. Even if it takes longer time...

Findus was a bit angry with me when I only wrote about Frost's two new tracking champions! One of his daughters is also a new tracking champion, sorry! Congratulations to "Vera" SVCh Black Mica's Full Fart Framåt and her owner Maija!

And I also forgot about a show, the show the day after Ransäter. It was an SSRK show in Högbo there Helene Björkman judged. Frost's son "Albin" Westerner Columbo won the youth class with CC-quality and ended up as fourth best dog. Findus daughter "Ida" Black Mica's Gasen I Botten won the same class among the bitches and ended up as third best dog.

We will see what I remember when I have got this news "out"...!? If I don't remember anything else maybe someone will remind me?

29 July

I have not updated with so many results at the English site this year (either...), sorry! Most of them you still will find at the Swedish version, but here comes some of the latest anyway!

In the middle of June a Kennel Club Show was held in Avesta and many of Frost's children did well! His daughter "Joice" Tolinka Focaccia won the youth class (15-24 months) and ended up as second best bitch with CC and reserve-CACIB. Congratulations to her & Ankie! New photo of her can be seen here! Among the dogs Frost's young son "Nelson" Westerner Country Fair made his debute in the junior class and was third with CC-quality. He was visiting us a couple of days before and we took some photos, which can be seen here! "Albin" Westerner Columbo won the youth class with CC-quality and ended up as fourth best dog.

The first weekend in July it was time for the World Winner Show and the day before the Circuit show which was held at Almare Stäket. I did not have any dog of my own entered, but at the Curcuit show I handled Frost's son "Nimbus" Tolinka Semifreddo i a big youth class. We are very proud over that he got excellent and placed as number three! New photos of him from the day can be seen here!

Nimbus is judge by Susan Young, the judge for the  males

Sunday and time for the World Winner Show. So fun to be able to see so many dogs from the rest of the world! I thought! Afterwards I wondered how many I have seen? With judging in three rings at the same time and two dogs to handle in the junior ring, well when you did not see that much!

But it was fun anyway, and it was great that the judges liked the "grandchildren"! I handled "Nimbus" Tolinka Semifreddo again. This time in junior class for Helle Dan Pålsson, as it was allowed to go in junior class until 18 months. In a huge junior class he got excellent once  more and was placed as number three even this time! Great, and big thanks to Agneta for the joy of handling him!

Nimbus waiting for the judge...

This day I also handled his litter sister "Chili" Tolinka Tiramisu. She was in season in April and we have been a bit nervous because of her coat. It looked promisin - until the week before the show - THEN she started to drop her coat... Well, she had enough at least and we cross our fingers for that she will be able to keep the rest! If you thought Nimbus class was huge it was nothing compared to Chili's, more than 40 junior bitches! No placement for Chili this day, but she got Excellent too, so that was great!

Chili i ringen

In another ring the males (except junior) was judged by Elina Tah-Hietalahti. Frost's son "Albin" Westerner Colulmbo got Excellent too and got a nice placement as fourth in the youth class!

"Albin" with his owner Monica

In the ring for the bitches Hans Lehtinen was judging and we are proud that Findus daughter "Spöka" Westerner Ghost Story got Excellent, so also Lexie's daughter "Dharma" Westerner Dragonfly.

There was dog shows here in Sweden while I was in Germany too! :) At the Kennel Club show in Tvååker Frost's children did it well again! In a big junior class (16 entries) they won a double by "Rakel" Shakima's Let's Dance at first place and "Emmy" Shakima's Frosty Milk at second place. Both with CC-quality. A new photo of Rakel can be seen here! "Tia" Ch. Dualdigni's Kidney Bean was placed as fourth beset bitch. The judge was Frank Wythe and 78 cockers were entered.

Now we are going abroad instead! First to Finland there Ior's son "Sören" Westerner Dance In Time, owned by kennel Benchmark, has done very well this year! He has so far been winning 3 CC's, 3 CACIB, 5 BOB's plus Best In Group-3 & BestIn Group-4. New photo of him can be seen here!

Now it is time to go back to Germany! Well, not for us, even if it would have been fun and I had been offered to handle Ior at this show, but you can't do everything you want! This weekend their Club Show was held, and Ior did so well! He won Best Male and Klubschausieger 2008! Big congratulations both to Ior & his owner Moni! And big congratulations also to all other wins for kennel vom Schloss Hellenstein!

17 July

Time is running as always. The problem is not that nothing has happened, the problem is as usual that I don't have time to do everything I want too!

I have some show reports to do, but that have to wait! Priority 1 must be to tell that Lotta & mine eagerly awaited dogs from kennel vom Schloss Hellenstein in Germany at last are here in Sweden with us! We had a lovely & funny holiday trip at the same time, seen some beautiful parts of Germany and also got the chance to let to know Monika Bollinger and all her lovely dogs more. We travelled more than 4000 kilometers, but we had such a great time that it did not felt as so long.

It was very exciting to at last meet "Wilmer" High Success vom Schloss Hellenstein and his litter sister "Heidi" High Life vom Schloss Hellenstein, and we really liked them! BUT... It was a small problem... Monika had a surprise for me... Another litter brother to choose from, so that I would have the possibility to choose. Hm, choose? It is very difficult, don't you agree? Well, we thought so all three of us. Wilmer is sooo nice in constructions, but rather late matured. His litterbrother High Style vom Schloss Hellenstein are more developed, very good looking too and with lovely movements. (Well, Wilmer has great movements too, but he don't want to show as often as his brother, but we are training!)

Well as you may have understand from the start page you know have it finished? Both brothers followed me home! How crazy can you be? Well, but I am still very pleased with my decision! It will be very exciting to follow there developing. Wilmer will come out once or twice in puppy class, after that I plan to enter Vincent (well, that is the name I choosen after one nights thinking!) in junior class early autumn. Wilmer will have to wait for the official debute for awhile.

A larger report from the trip to Germany is planned, well, I am aware of that I have not done the report from the trip to Gotland in May yet..., but until then it at least are some new photos of Wilmer & Heidi at their pages, and Vincent has of course got one of his own! I would like to thank my good friend Inger at kennel Westerner who helps me now when I sudden was owner of four males... :-)

It was of course fun but hard to meet Ior again. He was in such great condition and seemed to really enjoy living at Schloss Hellenstein kennel, but it was SO hard to leave him again. I don't know if it was Monika or I who cried most when we left!? Below a photo of Ior and me.

Sorry about being lazy with update at the English News site. You can still see more photos in The Swedish version, and maybe try to learn som Swedish!!???

Anyway! Here you have a new photo of Wilmer!! Last time it was not Wilmer.. :-) It was his sister!! Today we have got to know that we by misstake got two photos of sister Heidi last time. From two different sides! One of them was named Wilmer, so I never suspected that it was not. I should have known that Wilmer don't have so much black at that side, but as I have most pictures from the other side I did not thought about that. I remember though that I thought he was lighter in colour than I remembered!! Lucky I was not alone..., Lotta did not suspect anything either. She thought both looked really good but that Wilmer was better looking than Heidi... :-)) She got a happy surprise today when we found out that Wilmer was Heidi..., if you can say so!

Below you can find the photo of Wilmer which came today, and I have of course also changed at their pages. (Wilmers - Heidis)

Wilmer, 5,5 months

24 April

Sorry! I have been very lazy to update my news site in English, will try to be better! Even if you can't understand Swedish you can, if you like, take a look at the Swedish News as there are many photos there.

But now some news I just have to tell in English too! Big news! A new dog is moving to us in the summer! Guess if I long for that day? He is called "Wilmer" and will then be 8 months old. He comes from kennel vom Schloss Hellenstein in Germany, and you can read more about him here!

Now in April two of Findus offspring has moved down to Germany. It is our "Ior" Swed Sh Ch Westerner Timekeeper, who, together this his young halfsister "Jill" Westerner Small Talk has moved and now has kennel vom Schloss Hellenstein as their new home.
You can read about Ior & Jill's trip to Germany here.

29 January

I was going to update with the results from SSRK show in Strömsholm yesterday, but was very busy the whole day. Except all the things you have to do every day more or less we had a nice visit from six small puppies by Findus! They were 7,5 weeks old and are out of Northworth Under The Stars. They did not travel alone, together with them came their breeder Camilla Östman, kennel Copper, and also Christina Dyrendahl, kennel Hot Sensation. (Vi are much more used to see them with their lovely irish setters!). Of course we took a lot of photos of the puppies, and photos will come here at this website soon. Until then you can look at the photo with all the puppies together!

And now the results from the show in Strömsholm this Sunday. The years first for me, but except any own dog entered. Frost came along to have a progeny group, but he was not entered. Entered was his fullsister "Flingan" Westerner Fairytale, who have been with us the last week, and I also handled a son & a daughter by Frost, so I had to do anyway!

First in the ring of "my" dogs was Frost's son "Nimbus" Tolinka Semifreddo who won the junior class with CC-quality.

Nimbus in the ring

In the next class, youth class, 15-24 months, we enjoyed seeing three sons of Frost in top! "Fly" Dualdigni's Kite Flying won with CC-quality, second, also with CC-quality was "Albin" Westerner Columbo and third with honour prize was "Diesel" LP1 Dualdigni's Keept The Stage.

Nimbus sister Chili (Tolinka Tiramisu), who I also handled did as well as her brother! She won the junior class with CC-quality. Second with honour prize was another daughter of Frost, "Zakira" Panhur's Amazing Power.

In the youth class Ior's daughter "Celine" SVCh Westerner Love On Time came third with honour prize.

In the open class - photo to the left - was "Flingan" Westerner Fairytale reserve with CC-quality in the big class (20 entries).

New photos of Flingan can be seen here!

Frost's progenygroup was best group in the breed with honour prize. Later in the finals it was placed as Best In Show-2, judge Fredrik Norgren.
We talked about taking a photo of the group, but we only talked about it.... Next time maybe?

The same day it was an open Kennel Club Show in Örebro there Frost's daughter "Stella" Westerner Island of Love made her debute. She won BOB-puppy among six other older puppies. Well done!

21 January

Time flies! And very quick!

Yesterday I was visiting Inger (Westerner) and we took photos at a lot of puppies. Some of the photos can also be seen at this website. New photos of Findus & Myran's puppies, exactly 4 weeks old can be seen here, but I also have to show you this photo.

While his four brothers & sisters slept at their "bed" he found another place to sleep at. With a blanket!

We also took new photos of Findus daughter "Flora Westerner Nothing Blue Flowers and Frost's daughter "Holly" Westerner Child of Winter. The photos can be seen here and here.

The weekend before it was a big puppy show in Nyköping with 25 cocker puppies entered. I was not there, but we have got some result to be proud of! In the biggest class, 6-9 months, bitches, with 9 entries, Frost's daughter "Rakel" Shakima's Let's Dance won with honour prize and second, also with honour prize was Findus' daughter "Elsa" Dancing Feet's Waltzing Lady (new photo of her can be seen here). I am sure that "Frisco" SU(u)Ch Westerner Blowin' Free is very proud from his doggy heaven as all four bitches who got honour prize at this show has him inte pedigree. The judge was Hans Rosenberg.

We have got nice reports from Denmark too, or maybe we should say Germany? Findus son "Enzo" Westerner Named Shadow, together with his owner at kennel Iskama, have been in Germany and have now got the title Jugend Champion (Klub). The judge was Herbert Klemann, Germany. Congratulations! A photo from the show can be seen below:

In Finland Frost's daughter "Ada" Misskiss made her debute at Kajaanis International Show with winning BOS-puppy under Theo Leenen, Belgium, 7 months old. A new photo of her can be seen here!

Of course we also have to congratulate Ior's daughter "Celine" Swedish Tracking Ch Westerner Love On Time, who together with her kennelmate Tindra (Swedish Tracking Ch Atacama's Beautiful Tindra), Findus wife!, became Tracking Champion of The Year 2007. Celine is not even 2 years old yet!

I guess I may have forgotten something/someone... Please forgive me if I have!

8 January

I have got a new photo of Findus son "Enzo" Westerner Named Shadow, see here, and also learned that he except the excellent result in Gothenburg Sunday also was second in junior class with CC-quality at the show Saturday.

I must show you the lovely photo of Findus daughter "Vera" Black Mica's Full Fart Framåt (which in English means Full Speed Ahead, and suits her very well!), playing together, or should I write flying?, with her flat coated retriever "brother".
Unfortunately it has begun to rain here now...

6 January

I missed an excellent result from the Show in Gothenburg this Thursday. Andy's daughter "Polly" SU(u)Ch DKUCh SVCh Perchwater Blue Queen of Magic ended up as second best bitch! There has been a Kennel Club Show in Gothenburg today too. Findus' son, Frost's little brother "Enzo" Westerner Named Shadow won the junior class with CC-quality and ended up as reserve (fifth) best dog.

3 January

Today the Swedish Kennel Club had a show in Gothenburg. I was not there myself but Frost's daughter Chili, Tolinka Tiramisu & her mum, Andy's daughter, Flaxa, SVCh Perchwater Misty-Blue was there. Chili came second (out of 10) in junior class with CC-quality and Flaxa was third in open (out of 16) with CC-quality. Congratulations to nice results!
At the same time I gave Chili's litterbrother Nimbus, Tolinka Semifreddo, a trim. A new picture of him can be seen here!

2 January

New Year and I will try to do something with my bad treated website again! No New Years wish - I don't dare to do that - but close as it feels naturally to start all over again with a new year. We wish and believe in 2008!

I have updated my website with lots of new photos of sons and daughters to Findus, Frost & Ior. You can see them at their websites. New litters and a coming litter, can you read about here.

I have also made a photo report about our trip to Gotland this summer. I must admit that it so far is only in Swedish, and I don't know if it ever will be in English (still wish for my 48 hours days!) but if you like you can look at the photos - and try to learn some Swedish!! You can see it here!

We wish you all a lovely & successful 2008!
