My first cocker was a too big blue roan male, but my interest for dog shows started nearly from the beginning, and after showing "Hugo" to a lot of second prizes in quality (but also one CC-quality) it 1981 was time for my first real show dog. It was an English import, the blue roan male "Moses" Bitcon Blue Music, son of the wellknown bitch GB Sh Ch Bitcon Silver Model. "Moses" got the CC's needed for the championtitle, but at that time we needed a hunting test too for getting the champion title in Sweden) and was both BOB and Best In Show (The Swedish Spaniel- & Retriever Club) winner. He was also sire to a couple of litters. The first was born 1983 at kennel Moorleaf, and since then it has been born many litters by my males. To follow the offspring to my males is something that interest me a lot, and I have got many good friends because of them/that too! Sometimes it feels like we are a big family all of us! I have get used to to be called "grandma"! :-)

At the moment I own four cockers, three of them living with us. They are all blue roan, which I guess must be my favourit colour (otherwise I really have been unsuccessfulas I nearly always have had "blue" cockers), but I still wish that I one day will have an orange roan male!
